The office of the General Bishop is occupied by the founder of Southwest Evangelical Ministries, Bishop Carl W. Scarborough. As a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, being ordained of God and called to preach and teach the gospel to all the nations of the world, he is SWEM,s highest recognized spiritual leader, whose aim is to "Support the Brethren" through furtherance of the Gospel of God and the revealing of His 'ComingTogether Revelation' to His elect and to His saints. The General Bishop is joyfully looking forward to his 22nd year of ministering the gospel and the continuing of his work in God's vineyard.
